Tobias Fike created his paintings in the exhibition with atmospheric conditions – namely, the sun. Using the sun to burn holes into a bare linen canvas, Fike illustrates various constellations such as Cancer, Centaurus, and Pegasus, all which contain stars 40 light years away, and thus relate back to the artist’s personal narrative (in this instance, his age).
