Lynne Naylor
Artist Biography:
Lynne Naylor is an award-winning icon of the TV and Film Animation world, and an established talent in the fine art "pop surrealism" scene.
As a designer, animator, director & producer, Lynne has lent her talents to numerous successful animated TV & Film projects. A co-creator of the cult hit The Ren & Stimpy Show, she has also been a key character designer for Batman:The Animated Series, Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Clone Wars: The Micro-Series, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, to name just a few. She has also done conceptual design work for features currently in development at DreamWorks, Sony Pictures Animation, and Rob Zombie's Haunted World of El Superbeasto. Lynne is currently serving as Art Director for Cartoon Network's acclaimed new animated show "Chowder".
In 2002, Lynne won a Rueben Award from the National Cartoonists Society. Also that year, she received an Annie Award for her design work on Samurai Jack. In 2005, she was nominated again for an Annie for her work on "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends".
Lynne's unique design style, vibrant color sense, and irresistably appealing girl art have enabled her a seamless transition into the fine art world, where her paintings have exhibited at galleries in Palm Springs, Seattle, and Melbourne, Australia.
